Perhaps you work in the medical field and could do your job more efficiently if you didn&#039;t have to wait for an interpreter or for the dreaded, impersonal language line.  Maybe you work in a field like construction where knowing some Spanish to enhance not only productivity but safety as well would be an asset. Remember it&#039;s not a political decision as to whether or not English-speakers should learn Spanish; it&#039;s a practical decision that will benefit you on the job and in your community.  It might help you bridge a barrier and it just might give you some added job security in the meantime!
